Lavanga Schlette is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 20 years experience and specialize in Eastern techniques such as Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, Reflexology & Usui Reiki Master. In a massage she skillfully combines her knowledge of those areas (Reiki, Aromatherapy, & Reflexology) for a relaxing & rejuvenating massage. She is also an RYT-200 yoga teacher.
Reiki is ancient form of healing that taps into the unlimited supply of life force energy to improve health and improve the quality of life. Reiki means universal life force energy. This life force energy has different names depending on the culture such as in Hawaii it is mana, India called Prana, Hebrew is Ruach and China Chi’i.
Reiki can be used to complement both Western and Eastern medicine. & it is even safe for pregnant women. Holistically emotional or physical problems tend to occur when the energy is out of balance, blocked, disrupted, or weakened. These imbalances can be caused from many situations in our lives such as injury, neglect of one’s self, destructive tendencies, limiting thoughts/feelings/emotions like anger, fear, doubt, and negative self talk.

In a standard treatment Reiki energy flows from the practitioners hands into the client. The client lays on a massage table & remains fully clothed. The practitioner places their hands hands on or near the clients body in a series of hand positions. Crystals are placed on chakra’s and other areas. The use of crystals amplify’s & enhances the reiki energy.

Dini Plotkin is an Usui Reiki Master. Lavanga is her reiki master. She has been practicing reiki since 2010. Dini also incorporates crystal therapy in her reiki sessions.
